ECFE stands for Early Childhood Family Education. Our program, offered by the Minnesota public school districts, serves families with children from birth to five years of age. Our mission is to enhance the ability of all parents and other family members to provide the best possible environment for their child’s learning and growth. At ECFE, you can expect to meet caring instructors whose sole job is to support you in your role as a parent and as your child’s first teacher. You will also meet other parents of toddlers and preschoolers who share some of the very same joys and frustrations of parenting as you do.

Cub Kids is a fee-based preschool which is open from 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM on school days following the New London-Spicer district calendar. We offer before and after school care called Lil' PALS. Hours for this program are 7:30-8:15AM and 3:00-5:30 PM. Cub Kids serves children ages 3–5 years old and aims to prepare them for Kindergarten. Cub Kids is an inclusion-based preschool program. The mission of the Cub Kids program is to ensure that no child starts behind; and that every child is ready to enter Kindergarten as a confident and capable student. Our goals are to teach children in a developmentally appropriate environment that encourages growth for children socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. We believe that all children deserve a safe place to grow to their fullest potential. Our certified, licensed, experienced, teachers and staff members strive to provide program activities that are based on the uniqueness within each group of children. Apply for the 2025-26 School Year!
